We are very excited to announce that our very own, highly in demand teacher Sue Czuchwicki will be delivering a unique yoga session in collaboration with talented Adelaide musician Zachary Luka.
With a 12-year background in performing and composing on guitar, Zachary Luka traded playing on stage in various rock bands for the freedom and beauty of the Australian outdoors. An affinity for busking led him to take blues, roots and modern-folk concepts to create a unique and diverse playing style. Using acoustic and lap steel guitars, Zac will play music complimenting the ideals, philosophy and movement of this special yoga class.
This live music event is not to be missed. Please join Sue and Zachary Luka for a blissful journey through yoga and music. Following this soulful session chai tea and bliss class will be provided. Due to covid restrictions this will be outside (weather permitting!) so please bring a coat.
When: Sunday 24th October. 4pm-6pm
Spaces strictly limited*
$50 full price
$45 concession & 12 month members
*No refunds for this event. If canceled due to Covid we will reschedule
This online workshop addresses the most common questions, misunderstandings and confusing bits about meditation. It covers the essential how’s and why’s of creating a stable practice. The course will be run over 3 weeks, online as a group. Included are:
12 pre-recorded videos
4 live Q&A’s and live guided meditations
a course manual
and plentiful support from Kate.
We’ll explore many different aspects and approaches to and also queries about meditation. Such as
How do I quiet my mind and what do I do with my thoughts?
What is the point? What is meditation for? How is it different to just sitting and thinking?
I know it is good for me, but how do I make myself do it? How do I meditate consistently?
What technique am I supposed to be using? What is the right way to do it?
Am I supposed to be using guidance or do it on my own? And, how do I do it on my own?
In addition, the course addresses the struggles that Kate personally experienced as a beginner, and the mountains of wisdom and understanding that she has gathered along the way.
Kate is an Insight Meditation Teacher, Spiritual Mentor, Transformational Retreat Facilitator, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist and a lifelong student of the Yoga and Buddha Dhamma. With class sizes increasing this week (hooray!) we are faced with another challenge (boo!) – how to live stream while maintaining privacy for those in the studio 🙏🏻
As the class orientation will need to change we have the mirrors to deal with which means a little ’tweaking’ (NOT twerking) from us 😜
You can now attend 1 class per day in the studio – no more limits to 3/week – so please feel free to book in to studio classes instead 🙌🏻
If you do not wish to attend in studio classes this week, the other options are for pre recorded classes to be sent, or alternatively a week pause/extension of your membership.
Please let us know your preferred option and we will arrange asap.
From today our capacity will be increased in line with today’s announcements from the SA Government 🙌🏻 . We’re hard at work getting the schedule adjusted – standby for class confirmations if you’re on wait lists 📲 . It’s a small step forward in the right direction and still a way to go – THANK YOU for your support throughout this truly tricky time from all of us at yogafusion 🙏🏻
Due to the limited class sizes imposed by current government restrictions, we’ve implement waitlists on all our classes and we know that there have been some questions about how they work.
So we’re here to answer!
The main points are:
If a class is booked to capacity, you can join the waitlist. This means that if someone booked into the classes cancels you will move up the list and, if you’re at the top, you’ll be added to the class.
You will be notified via email if you’ve been added into the list at least 90 minutes before the class starts, so please keep an eye on your inbox.
If you are waitlisted, but a spot doesn’t free up in the class then you won’t lose a class on your current pass.
If you’re on the waitlist you can cancel at anytime and you also won’t lose a class on your current pass.
In order to use the waitlists, please make sure you are using the latest version of the app. At the time of writing, this is version 3.045.001. If this isn’t the version you’re using, please update via either Apple’s App Store or Google’s Play Store.
To check which version you have, go to the “Settings” section, like so!
Have you heard the awesome news? 🤗 . We’re reopening Monday 1st June! 🙌🏻 . Less than a week until we can see you in the studio again and BOOKINGS ARE OPEN NOW 🥰 . Places are limited to allow for physical distancing regulations ↔️ . Some live stream options will still be available with the recordings 👍🏻 . Schedule is online via the website and app 📲
